I'm serious about the "going frugal" part though.
Actually, I'm serious about all of it....
which is kind of weird
Anyhoo
Frugal tips?
Frugal blogs?
Coupons?
Leave me a link!
And now that I think about it...
Maybe I'm not meant to be a nerd?
Maybe I'm just supposed to shower them with love.
Ya know?
I could totally be that chick on Can't Buy Me Love.
*fast forward to the part where she was actually nice to him though*
Yeah, she befriended that nerd Patrick Dempsey and he turned into a big deal.
I have found my purpose!
I accept paypal. My id is the same as my email addy.
what? Isn't that how it worked in the movie?
or maybe not?
Where is that chick now?

Don't shop... that is the only way I can really be frugal, other wise those darn end of the isle displays get me every time!
Actually I coupon... I have tutorials about it on my blog
I stockpile, play the grocerygame and like Emmy said.. just don't shop. I'm okay as long as I don't go anywhere :) and I switched to cash. It hurts more when you spend it.
http://coupons2.smartsource.com <-- one of my fav coupon sites. And i am so a coupon cutter in the Sunday paper! I also don't do credit cards. Like chicka before me said, it is a lot harder to part with cash than it is to slide that card!
Craft stuff... won't buy it unless I have % off coupon. Food/groceries/other stuffs... I totally use manu. coupons, store coupons, ads, etc. I also play the price-match deal w/lots of stores. (those who "match" printed ads of competitors) saves me $$ on gas and time. If you look on my twitter and Facebook, I subscribe to lots of frugal peeps. (i_am_lisa_too and http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/lisa.frederick1) HTH! Oh, hey! I forgot... I also subscribe to howtoshopforfree on yahoogroups. It's great! gives ALL the coupon breakdowns for different stores. "Kathy Spencer" also has a BigTent group (cost a whole $1) to get better breakdowns and tips. Good luck!
I try to be frugal and that is the main topic on my blog. Check it out and good luck!
LOL :)! I'm not great with the coupon frugal thing. I mostly just buy on sale and at discount stores. There is sooooo much out there on how to get stuff for near free. Good luck in your quest for nerdom...or frugaldom or both.
For stuff we need I shop online through Mr. Rebates - I can comparison shop and make cash back on my purchases. I have earned about $80 in cash back just buying stuff we needed since late last summer when I joined.
Being frugel- don't count your chickens before they hatch. That's frugel, right?
I love those glasses! :)
Being frugal is all about being less wasteful, so not buying things you don't need, making do with what you have, recycle, reuse and shop sensibility to save money.
