Congrats to :

Thanks to everyone else that entered!

As if you couldn't already tell, we are a crafty family. We love the glitter, glue and paint! Creativity for Kids products are huge favorites here as well. (As you can see from our past posts!)

This week we had the opportunity to try the Sparkling 3D paint activity kit.

The kids loved it, of course. I had a pretty good time decorating my ladybug as well : )

Each kit comes with the following:

·         8 Colors of 3D Paint

·         Silver & Black Outliners

·         30+ Traceable Patterns

·         2 Plastic Paint Sleeves

·         Gemstones

·         Wiggly Eyes

·         Trinket Box

·         Jump Rings

·         Clear Plastic Sun Catchers

·         Green Chenille Stems

·         Green Craft Sticks

·         Glitter Gel

·         Craft Glue

·         Sheer Ribbon

·         Stretchy Cord

·         Instructions & Ideas

You trace your creation onto a piece of plastic paint sleeves with the outlining paint and then fill everything in with the colored paints.

Once it is complete, you can decorate with sequins, glitter or other embellishments and then remove from plastic and stick anywhere that you would like (glass is the best place!)

There is also instructions for making 3D pieces. For example, the kids made a 3D ice cream cone.

This is a really neat product. If you like the Window Art kit then you will love the Sparkling 3D Paint Activity Kit.

Trendy Mommy (Rimmel London make up products)

Ok, Mommy...

You spend all day with the little ones now it's time to pamper yourself!

I always have to hardest time deciding on what type of mascara to buy. There are only like ten-thousand on the market today. I want long-lasting coverage and I also want BIGGER and LONGER looking eyelashes.
However, I don't want a LONG LASTING mascara that will NOT come off with a good makeup cleansing.
On the other hand, I don't want my mascara coming off everytime I sweat.

UGH!

I recently tried Rimmel London's Sexy Curves water-proof mascara and I have to say, I am impressed.
Not only did it stay on like it should but my eyelashes looked awfully long and pretty.
My favorite part was the wand. It has three sections which is perfect for me. I always find that the bigger wands are a little messy (Or Maybe I am the messy one?)

Speaking of Rimmel London, I also had the opportunity to try some of their Moisture Renew lipglosses. I love the colors! These are perfect for a day at the beach. Just put on some mascara, moisturize your face and apply Moisture Renew lip gloss. That's all you need! Moisture Renew Lipgloss protects your lips against the sun with a SPF15 protection.

Now after a long day at the beach, come home relax in a nice bubble bath and remove your makeup with Biore Makeup Removing Towelettes.
I've tried a lot of make up removing cloths and these are by far the best smelling ones. I can't stand that alcohol-ish smell that most leave behind.

Just a swipe here and there and BAM make up is gone!

For more information about any of these products visit RimmelLondon.com.

I received all of the above mentioned products from the PR firm on behalf of Rimmel London. The above opinions are entirely my own and I was not compensated in any other form.

Let's face it, Kids and HUSBANDS are messy!

There's just no way of getting around it. Messes are going to occur. Sorry, if I ruined your parade but it's true!

Do you know what mess I hate more than ANY OTHER?

Carpet stains
:Sigh:

We are supposed to be following a "No eating and No drinking" rule when it comes to the living room. Does everyone stick to it? uhh.... NO!

Kool-Aid, Coffee, Tea, Coke
They've all been on my carpet.

It's down right obnoxious and embarrassing for me.
I'm not even kidding, I will not even let people inside my house when there are stains on the carpet. Either that or I will turn the lights down real low so no one can see.

Carpet Cleaning can be quite a hassle. Don't you agree?

What's a mom to do?
Well, I'll tell you what I don't want to do and that's CLEAN CARPETS!
I would much rather have someone else do it (AHEM), ChemDry.

What do you do? Do you clean them yourself or do you use a commercial carpet cleaning company?

Customized Signs and Stickers

There was a time when I wanted to open my own daycare center right here in my home. Yes, I was that crazy! lol

The only problem that I had was advertising. I mean, word of mouth advertising can only help you SO MUCH.
Our local newspaper is a very small one and I am pretty sure the only people that get it now days are the older crowd. *No offense

I was always trying to come up with ways to advertise so that everyone could see my ads.

I had thought about a customized sign at one point. However, I live out in the middle of nowhere so I don't think they would have helped much.

I put up flyers at the local library with no luck...

Custom stickers may have been a better option. I could have just stuck them all over the city. Ok, maybe not! lol

I ended up getting pregnant again and the daycare was a definite NO NO!

But now I'm wondering....
How do you go about advertising your business (if you have one)?

How do you advertise to EVERYONE?
Have you ever thought about the impaired? How would you go about advertising to them?

Still bored? Try these crafty ideas.

Momma needs a new computer

I've had this laptop for awhile now. It's been through the ringer.

Don't get me wrong, it's been a good one. We've downloaded many songs and I've posted many blog posts but I do believe it's time for mommy to get a new computer.
Afterall, Daddy just got himself a new one. It's now my time, right?

I've never been the "researcher" in the family. That's my husband's job.
I just tell him what I want and he will do all the work.
Don't even get me going on all that computer techy lingo. You've already lost me at RAM.

I know I want a netbook.
I do have a preferred color but if they do not carry it, then I will go with basic black.

It needs to run! Other than that....
eh...

LOL!

I did see a fancy little HP tablet pc that looked like a great fit for me.
Maybe that's what I should get?

Or Should I go back to a desktop?
Nah, I want a netbook!
*WOMEN*

Yep, that's what I want....A netbook!

Oh, and one of those laser printers would be nice too.

I don't ask for much!

What do you have?

Where do you shop for boys clothing?

Ok, I've got a question...

Where do you shop for boys clothing? As you know, we currently have 2 girls and one boy with (UNKNOWN SEX) another on the way. I have always had the hardest time shopping for my son. ALWAYS!

The girls are easy. I can run into any department store, browse website upon website and still come out with numerous articles of clothing. Stores seem to cater more to the GIRLS than BOYS.
I've never been a fan of rompers, overalls or even the cutesy little sailor suits for boys.
Don't even think about those tall white knee socks either...

No offense to anyone that puts their child in this get-up. I will admit, It's CUTE but I don't want CUTE for my boy. I want BOY. I want ROUGH AND TOUGH. I want itty bitty polos and khakis.

Why is it so hard to shop for boys?
