trendytykes just ate cheese puffs (Not the whole bag....just half) I also ate a Snickers candybar. I feel guilty. Those were my kids cheese puffs : (
I thought I would start doing all of my blog posts in "Twitter" form.
What do you think?
IMA LAZY like that.

Your Thoughts. . .
Has Twitter killed the BLOG?
Are people too busy now days to stop and read more than 140 characters?
Between twitter, facebook, myspace, message boards and forums are you just wiped out?
Gosh, I hope not!
I will admit that I am ADDICTED to twitter but I am also a big time blog writer, reader and supporter.
I like to think of Twitter as my "casual chatting" place.
My blog is a little more personal.
What do you think?
How do you see Twitter?
Is it the NEW blog?

I just joined twitter this week, but I have to admit, it is affecting my blogging a bit. But possibly for the better, since i get the little things out of my system and dont bore people with entire blog posts about nothing.
I am staying away from twitter with a ten feet pole for now. I'm also late and last-minute though. I didn't start writing my blog or reading blogs until four months ago. And I didn't join facebook until this year. So basically I'm waiting until twitter becomes "so last year" and something new, like "toot your horn" comes along and that's when I'll get on board. What can I say? I honestly still wish Atari was around. One button and a joystick - so less complicated than ten buttons, pluses and minuses and all that other stuff that I can't figure out. Good thing all I have to is type and hit send on here. :-)
Nope, it's not the new blog but it sure isn't helping increase people's already diminishing attention spans.
I love the blog and am too addicted. Twitter is taking the place of texting. I, too agree that it is casual conversation and snippets of things that you want to say quickly.
People are too chatty and the 140 characters is much, much too short. Twitter can be like a study aide for the blog. You can quiz readers or get quick opinions before you blog about something.
I adore you even more knowing that you ate the cheese puffs and snickers!!! :)
Honestly, it is a little too much for me. It also makes me think, when somebody is on a date or playing with their kids and twittering at the same time (telling us what they are doing)... are they really in the moment? Are they really there? Or do they post and then compulsively keep checking if anybody has replied? I get if you post once about an event, but some people do the whole "we are at the restaurant" "our waiter is funny" "what should I order"... a little too much for me...not to mention BORING. I also don't care when you go to bed or when you wake up... These people just little the Twitter. So I prefer blogs - less nonsense.
I hope not because I love the better explanation you get from blogs! Sometimes you just can't get it all in 140 words.
I think it takes away from blogging a bit, but I {heart} blogging and reading other blogs, and finding new bloggy friends!
Twitter is okay, but I do LOVE my BLOG!!!
Ugh. I hope not! I don't get what's so great about it. I have joined but hardly ever do anything with it. I just don't get what the point is with twitter and facebook updates all the time. How can you really be playing with the kids or cleaning the house but updating your status too? And do I really need to know that you are doing that? I'll stick with blogging.
