Harriet The Spy Blog Wars ~Contest~

Celebrating the release of Harriet The Spy Blog Wars (September 28) comes one pretty awesome contest for the YOUNGER bloggers out there!

As you may know, in the movie Harriet becomes a blogger that tries to get to the bottom of all things JUICY within her high school. This contest will hopefully bring out the journalist in all those who enter!

With the help of parents, contestants will submit a blog post about why they want to become a blogger and report on any topic that interests them. Once the post is done, contestants just have to post the link to the official Facebook page and they are entered to win!

The HUB is coming! 10-10-10 (reminder)

The Hub, a new television channel especially for kids and family time will feature popular characters such as Transformers, Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony and Pound Puppies in their own cartoon series.

The schedule includes live-action, scripted and non-scripted, animated and anime programs, reintroducing beloved characters and acquainting kids and their families with new ones. Also a part of the lineup is live-action game shows that pit families against other families in fun and friendly, but spirited, competition.

I've got to say, I am super excited about this one. A lot of that probably has to do with The Pound Puppies and My Little Pony. I won't lie. (hehe) The Hub actually takes me back to my childhood. Ya know, when cartoons were on for half of the day on Saturdays? *On all regular cable channels Of course, you can find cartoons any day of the week 24/7 now days but it's just not the same for me.
