It's the EASTER BEAGLE ! ! ! (giveaway)

Ah, who doesn't love Snoopy?

I grew up watching The Peanuts as a kid and I absolutely love it when the holidays come around so I can share my love of Snoopy with my own children.

They watched the Thanksgiving and Christmas specials this past year however, they have never seen an Easter episode until now.

Cute Cute Cute!!

As Easter is approaching everyone is rushing around with Easter prep but good ole Linus is trying to convince everyone that the EASTER BEAGLE will take care of everything. They shouldn't worry about it, right? Well.....Of course no one believes him except for sweet Sally.

The episode is filled with egg coloring by Peppermint Patty and Marcie, (My kids got a kick out of that!) egg hunts, and of course Lucy getting upset. It wouldn't be a complete Peanuts episode without a little irritation on Lucy's part.

You'll have to watch the DVD with your kids to see if the Easter Beagle actually shows up.

hmmmm......

Will Charlie Brown get any Easter eggs?

***

Would you like to win a Easter Beagle prize pack?

~PERFECT FOR ANY EASTER BASKET~

I have two Easter Beagle prize packs to give away.

Prize Pack contains:

1 Easter Beagle Plush (Snoopy dressed as the Easter Bunny err Beagle)

1 It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown dvd

1 Easter Beagle egghunt book

All you have to do is answer this question for me :

Snoopy likes to juggle his Easter eggs while he’s on a unicycle (which we don’t recommend you try, of course!)--what does your family do with eggs after they’ve been found?

This giveway will end on Thursday, April 2 and the winners will be notified.

We use plastic eggs and fill them with money (change) or candy. Kids just love Easter egg hunts. And of course they love opening them to see all the goodies inside!

I make deviled eggs and egg salad. For some reason colored Easter eggs taste better than any other eggs. I made it for my 4 kids and now my 9 grandchildren
Happy Easter

We hide plastic eggs, so we rehide them for several days, then put them away so the Easter bunny can find them again next year.

Here in Southern Arizona, egg hunts with real eggs quickly become a health hazard! They normally use plastic around here which get reused the next year. I did see a novel last year though. The kids hunted for golf balls which they turned in for (refrigerated) bags filled with real eggs and plastic eggs with candy.

In this part of Texas we don't color boiled eggs, instead we save hollowed out eggs that have been washed then dyed. Fill them with confetti and secure the hole with glue and tissue paper. They're called Cascarones. You're supposed to smash these over one's head, it's tons of fun!

Honestly? We're lazy and don't hide eggs, and the ones we do use at Easter...well they're chocolate, so we eat them!!

For egg hunts, we use plastic eggs and fill them with little goodies (piece of chocolate, small toy, sticker, etc), so the kids sit and crack them all open to see what "prizes" they got.

We only hide plastic eggs. When we're done finding them, we crack them open, remove the goodies, and bag up the eggs to save for next year.

We use plastic easter eggs that are filled with goodies after the kids are done finding and emptying the eggs they get to refill them and hide them for the adults and we do our hunt at night with flash lights.
