It's the EASTER BEAGLE ! ! ! (giveaway)

Ah, who doesn't love Snoopy?

I grew up watching The Peanuts as a kid and I absolutely love it when the holidays come around so I can share my love of Snoopy with my own children.

They watched the Thanksgiving and Christmas specials this past year however, they have never seen an Easter episode until now.

Cute Cute Cute!!

As Easter is approaching everyone is rushing around with Easter prep but good ole Linus is trying to convince everyone that the EASTER BEAGLE will take care of everything. They shouldn't worry about it, right? Well.....Of course no one believes him except for sweet Sally.

The episode is filled with egg coloring by Peppermint Patty and Marcie, (My kids got a kick out of that!) egg hunts, and of course Lucy getting upset. It wouldn't be a complete Peanuts episode without a little irritation on Lucy's part.

You'll have to watch the DVD with your kids to see if the Easter Beagle actually shows up.

hmmmm......

Will Charlie Brown get any Easter eggs?

***

Would you like to win a Easter Beagle prize pack?

~PERFECT FOR ANY EASTER BASKET~

I have two Easter Beagle prize packs to give away.

Prize Pack contains:

1 Easter Beagle Plush (Snoopy dressed as the Easter Bunny err Beagle)

1 It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown dvd

1 Easter Beagle egghunt book

All you have to do is answer this question for me :

Snoopy likes to juggle his Easter eggs while he’s on a unicycle (which we don’t recommend you try, of course!)--what does your family do with eggs after they’ve been found?

This giveway will end on Thursday, April 2 and the winners will be notified.

Every year, we have an Easter Egg hunt with our kids and our nieces and nephews, however we hide plastic Easter Eggs that we put little surprises in. Some wrapped chocolate, some stickers, small plastic rings and stuff like that.
Thanks so much.

The eggs we hide are the plastic ones filled with change, candy and "coupons" for special things like an extra bedtime story or 15 more minutes before bed. After the eggs are found its swap time! The eggs that get decorated are kept in the fridge until easter and then used as the centerpiece for the table. The next morning they get sliced up and get served with fresh fruit as breakfast.

Let's get down and dirty with this. The hard boils get converted into various salads like macaroni, potato, or actual egg (my least favorite) or they get converted into deviled eggs.

Chocolate eggs are of course confiscated by mom and "rationed." Translation dolled out incredibly slowly until everyone forgets they exist and then I eat them. ALL!

The plastic eggs are usually torn apart and scattered to the four winds of the house so that I am still finding them when I take down the Christmas tree. They are also strewn across the house so that I step on them in the middle of the night and am encouraged to release a flurry of profanity that makes Popeye plug his ears.

I'm just sayin'...

We make lots of deviled eggs and egg salad sandwiches which are simply divine! My oldest son loves to just peel off the shell and eat the eggs that way so we usually go through quite a few of the eggs before I throw the leftovers out!

After we find our eggs we make egg salad or deviled eggs! But here's the best part! With the shells of the eggs that never made it to easter (yep, the extras) chip off the very top part, paint with dye, pour in candle wax and a wick, set on a painted egg holder and VOILA! Easter Egg Candle! These also make great gifts.

If the real ones haven't been out too long we eat them. Some we peel and eat and I make egg salad with some. We also use plastic ones that have candy in them and the kids eat that. Thanks!

If they're plastic, we dump them all out on the floor, open 'em up, divide the candy and eat a little at a time. If they're real eggs, but put 'em in the fridge and eat them with a sprinkle of salt!

For Easter growing up we always dyed hard boiled eggs, and used plastic eggs filled with things (money, candy, small toys, etc). Now that my husband and I have a baby of our own, we can't wait for next year when she'll be walking so we can start our own Easter egg hunts.

My kids, especially my daughter, will peel at least two boiled eggs and eat them before she finishes finding them all!! I love watching them hunt, it is so much fun!

I tend to be the sorter of the eggs to make sure the younger ones got the same amount. During egg hunts, my daughter is usually too busy picking flowers and wandering about. My son of course races to snatch as many as he can. So after egg hunts we equally distribute the eggs and I steal the kids "good" chocolates.

I don't hide real eggs. I keep them in the fridge and put them in my kids baskets just before I give them to them. They love eating the decorated hard boiled eggs. Later in the day, I take the rest of the cooked eggs and make deviled eggs. vidomich(at)yahoo(dot)com

We dye the eggs and my kids have so much fun doing this making all kinds of designs. Then we hide them and get them back in the fridge as quickly as possible to eat them for breakfast the next couple of days. Thanks this is such an adorable prize my three year old would love it.

We hide the candy ones for the children to find Easter morning and the real eggs we hard boil the night before Easter and decorate and refrigerate until Easter morning. The ones that aren't eaten then, go into egg salad sandwiches or a potato salad. This looks like a cute movie, it would be great to watch on Easter. Thanks for having the contest!
