Creating html forms

I'm not going to live. HTML anything makes me cringe....not because I despise it but rather because I have no clue what I am doing.

For instance, Today I needed to place a link on my personal blog BUT the link needed to be on my homepage ONLY. What did I do? I scoured google, bing and any other search engine that I could think of just hoping to find some html knowledge for this html impaired person.....uh, Yeah....ME!

I spent 2 hours typing in my search only to come up empty handed. I can't even tell you how many different html codes I tried.

FRUSTRATING!

Does html coding make you batty too? Please tell me that I am not alone.
If you are a website owner/blogger then you know how much we depend on our online forms. Heck, some of us have forms for everything...media contact forms, mailing list form, press release forms etc.

This is just how it is now a days (I sound like my grandma!)

"Well, back in my day we used to have this thing called a FILING CABINET."

lol

Ok, enough chit chat...

Looking for an easier way to create online forms? Check out Adobe Acrobat. It will help : )

Smart Trike giveaway

Let's add up how much you have spent on push on rides, tricycles and bicycles.

I'm willing to bet, it's A LOT.

My kids have had them all...from ride on's, to push types, tricycles and numerous bicycles.

What if you could buy ONE for multiple uses (age baby and up)?

You can!

It's the Smart Trike.

There are several different models to choose from . . .

Each one converts from one ride to the next.

For example, a baby would need something like above. However, once they become a toddler it will convert into something a little more age appropriate. The same thing for an older child too!

Nifty, eh?
The smart trike is . . .

Well....SMART!

Baby Bond Nursing sash

Yes, I'm a nursing mom. (Well, I have been in the past and will be in the very near future) No, I have never been one that likes nursing in public places. I am in NO WAY against it either. It's just not something that I am comfortable doing. ((To each their own, right??))

Even when I am at home and someone unexpectedly shows up, I am covered at all times.

It's not that easy to cover up and still be "Comfortable". Believe me, I have tried a lot of different ways to cover myself up too!

This time around, I am trying the Baby Bond Couture nursing sash.

About the Baby Bond nursing sash:
BabyBond Couture™ is adjustable creating a custom fit as your body changes after baby arrives. A hybrid between nursing top and belly band, it can be worn to nurse from the top or the bottom of your shirt so it works with your entire wardrobe. When worn like a sash, it functions like a nursing top. When worn like a belt, it functions like a belly band. Rolls up into self-storing pouch.

Now I can nurse in comfort, with ease and with Style!

Check out babybondnursing.com  for more nursing cover-up options.

I received the baby bond nursing sash as part of this feature post. No other form of monetary compensation was received.

Cute sandals and flip flops are a MUST-HAVE for summer

I love a cute and comfy pair of flip flops.

I love being able to slip them on and run out the door.
I also look forward to flip flop weather more than ANYTHING when it comes to dealing with my children.

You see, when it's warm outside....I don't have to tie shoelaces, I don't have find matching socks. Flip flop wearing weather ROCKS : )

When it comes to kids flip flops, they MUST be comfortable and able to withstand just about anything. My kids are rough on their shoes.

Do you have a favorite brand of flip flops?

Aren't these adorable?
(via Havaianas)

For womens flip flops, I tend to choose style before even checking the comfort factor.
So, when I actually find a pair that is cute and comfy...I tend to stick with that brand all the time.

Are you like this?

Do your husbands wear sandals or flip flops?
Mine usually DOES NOT however, I have been known to get a pair on his feet if we go on vacation. He also has a pair of flip flops beside the door for when he has to take the trash out or something like that.

Is your man like this? Why don't they like to wear sandals?

There are some pretty MANLY mens sandals out there.

I just wish he would step out of his comfort zone aka TENNIS SHOES and wear some.

Check these out...

Seamless shapewear

Let's face it, Once the baby arrives....I am going to need something to help LIFT and place everything where it needs to be.

I'm just being real here.

You moms know what I'm talking about right?
I've always had a hard time shopping for the best bra.

My problem with that? I don't like trying anything on. Call me lazy.

I've been told numerous times that I need to have a proper fitting. Who knows what my REAL size is?!

Have you ever been professionally fitted for a bra?

Ok, let's talk about shaping our bodies up.
HELLO?!
Without doing the work! lol

I need some seamless shape wear.
(I am definitely not ashamed to fake it.)

What do you guys recommend?

Remember, I will be having another c-section so all this loose flab needs to be tucked away.
I also want to see my curves again. I know they are there.....just hiding right now.

They will come back, right?

BOY or GIRL ?

Right before we found out what we were having this time around, I was trying to come up with cute ways to tell the family.

My mom was telling me about the gender cakes. What you do if you want to be surprised on whether or not it's a BOY or GIRL is on the day of the ultrasound take a piece of paper and envelope to the DR's office.

When they are doing the ultrasound just be sure to tell them you want to be surprised then have the DR or NURSE write down the gender results on the piece of paper and seal it up. You then take the envelope to your "cake maker" and have them whip up either a blue cake or a pink cake (Frost it so you can't see the color). That night when you slice into the cake ....

SURPRISE! You now know what you are having!

Cute idea, huh?
I was not patient enough : ) lol

Another cute idea that I found online were these "gender cookies".
I really REALLY wanted to do these but it would mean rushing home and baking cookies while the kids sniffed around and wanted to lick the bowl.

Believe me, when it comes to baking....There is always an audience.

For these you can make cake balls (use blue or red food coloring), dip them in chocolate and then bake them pretty much the same way I did with the oreo stuffed brownies only with chocolate chip cookie dough.

The kids would have enjoyed this.

Maybe next time....

HA HA HA !
(kidding on that)

But maybe you can try these ideas!

The web hosting woes . . .

:Sigh:

Some days I blog a lot.
Some days I blog a little.

This week, I needed to blog a lot.
This week, I blogged a little.

Why? My blog was down. GRR!

I'm tired of the error messages and not being able to upload my photos when I need them uploaded.
I need a better web host.
I need it NOW!

I've been asking around about web hosting. I've received some great advice. Now...I must take the plunge.
Right?

Why does it feel like such a big deal.
Ok, besides the money part.

Month to Month, yearly sign-ups...
Unlimited this
Limited that...

My head is spinning.

Can you see it?

Here goes nothing.

Did I mention how much I hate change?
Yeah...

Feeling SPICY?

Get your attention?

I've been trying to do a little sprucing up in the house. Maybe I'm nesting? Anyhoo, my kitchen cabinets are so cluttered. I have like a million spice bottles and containers. Most of which FALL out as soon as you open the door.

Hubby keeps saying that we need spice racks. Don't get me wrong, kitchen spice racks are nice to have. They really are.
BUT
We have owned several. Yes, several! Guess what? We never hardly used the spices when we had them. I am not even joking. I don't know what it was either. We have had a wall spice rack, we had a pretty little spice rack that sat on the counter in this pretty holder thingamajig. We even had one of those carousel spice racks. Maybe once or twice we actually took the spice out of the rack to use it.

However, as soon as we got rid of them and shoved the spices back in the cabinet.....We used spices!

I know that sounds crazy.

I just always considered them as something pretty to look at.

Something extra to dust...

LOL!

Ok, I don't actually enjoy cooking so maybe that's why they never got used but since we are uhhh well...BROKE more days than others now I actually HAVE TO COOK.

What do you use?
How do you organize your spices?

Looking for a stylish nursing pillow? I have the perfect place to send ya!

Their nursing pillow is by far the cutest I have seen : )

I love this style. Simply lay baby on top and nurse!

Unique contoured design encourages correct feeding position by naturally rolling baby towards mother...

It lifts baby up to breast level without putting any strain on the neck or back...

Easy to care for...

Fashionable!

There are so many different patterns to choose from. My favorite is the "Coco". (above)

Carter's childrens clothing

Here's a little tidbit of information for you :

There used to be a Carter's factory right down the street from our house (many years ago). A few members of my family used to work there too (When I was little).

When my Meghan was a baby, there was also a shoppe here in town that sold Carter's clothing at HUGE discounts. Needless to say, she had a ton of Carter's clothing. All of my children have worn something from Carter's and we are still big fans all these years later.

((I can't wait for Kennedy to wear her Carter's designs either!))

Carter's is known for their quality clothing. I like the fact that they are not only adorable but they are also great for everyday wear.

Check out this dress I received for baby Kennedy . . .

This is the Bright Sateen Dress set (includes diaper cover).
Isn't it cute?
100 % cotton
Machine Washable
Did I mention CUTE?

If you like that dress, check these out . . .

They are a steal at only $9.99!

Carter's also has clothing for bigger kids (toddler-school age) with a wide selection of styles. The designs will NOT break the bank either.

With the Color-Blocking trend being pretty popular this summer, Carter's is the right place to shop for all your children's fashion needs.

Check out these ensembles below and then head over to Carters.com to shop 'til ya drop!

Zutano baby clothing (Giveaway)

It's been awhile since I have shopped for an infant and let me tell you one thing . . .

I am having so much fun!!

I think I have oohed and ahhed and probably annoyed the pants off of my friends and family.

"Look at this!"
"Awww!"
"Look how tiny!"

I'm having another girl, y'all. I'm supposed to get a little giddy over pink and ruffles and bows.
It's like a rule or something.

Anyway, Zutano has some adorable clothing for the itty bitty babies. Have you been to their site or seen their designs in your local boutiques?

OH MY!

They offer a wide selection of cute styles and prints.
They even have a NEW Organic line.

(this lil dress is on my "Must Buy" list)

Can a jacket really be THIS CUTE?

Definitely a lot of ooohing and ahhhing to be had with these clothes.
My favorite part of Zutano?

Do you remember shopping for baby and thinking how small all the clothes were UNTIL you actually put them on baby?
They really aren't THAT TINY, are they?

Well, Zutano's Itzy Bitzy clothing really is THAT TINY.
Small enough for a newborn to come home in.

I love that! I never had big babies. My biggest was 7lbs and 6oz so it was hard finding things that were not too big.
This line is PERFECT!

Lookie :

Here's one of the little tops that we received . . .
It's a Kimona style wrap (adorable)

I can't wait to see little Kennedy wear this with the matching bottoms and hat!

If you are looking for cute baby clothing then I highly suggest checking out Zutano.

What does your wedding band look like ?

Even before I got married (many MANY years ago), I had one rule...

The wedding band must NOT be the PLAIN GOLD one. You know the one : ) I wanted something with a little more UMPH! No, I didn't need diamonds and bling all around but I did want some sort of design....Something a little more original and unique.

We ended up choosing these gold bands with a simple etched design around the entire ring. They really are pretty. If I say so myself : )

What kind of wedding band do you have?

Ok, next question :

Does your husband wear his wedding ring?
I know there are a lot of men that do not like to wear jewelry. Luckily, my husband wears his UNLESS IT'S NOWHERE TO BE FOUND....AHEM! (he is always misplacing things)

My dad lost two wedding rings while working so he never wears one now.

Check out these tungsten wedding rings:

They even have engraved tungsten rings for men.

Would your husband wear something like this? I think the tungsten rings are very masculine.
