Last week, I decided to try my hand at homemade chalkboard paint.
I had been wanting to buy some for crafty projects for some time now but that stuff is NOT CHEAP!
I made my own for pennies...
(not even joking)
Hubby went to buy the tile grout and Lowes sold it to him for $1 since the bag was opened.
I have TONS of it leftover.
Here are some ways to get "creative" with chalkboard paint :
(labels)
(love this! via Design Sponge)
(chalkboard globe)
(chalkboard wall art via Joy's Hope)
(chalkboard pumpkin for Halloween!)
(drawers painted with chalkboard paint) via Design Sponge
What would YOU make?
Don't have the time to make your own chalkboard paint?

I love chalkboard paint! I bought a tiny can at Michael's for a reasonable amount and painted my kitchen cabinet doors. Its great when guests come over because I can just label where everything is! I might have to try that pumpking though - too cute.
Oh I love chalkboard paint! I've used it on so many things, but mostly as labels.
I absolutely love this idea. There are infinite possibilities for it.
Oh wow, what neat things you can do with this stuff! LOVE the globe!
Never played with chalkboard paint and now I want to! Love these endless ideas!!!
I am totally going to do this with jars I've been saving and washing for gifts. The lids could totally use a coat of chalkboard paint!
I fill them with sugar and a split open vanilla bean, and leave them put up for a few months, to let the vanilla get through the sugar. Everyone who has gotten a jar of it loves it!
