how fun...hope it doesn't get too expensive..or painful!
I never contemplated all the hidden costs in buying a skateboard. Then again, there are a lot of hidden costs in having a boy, period.
:)
Happy W.W.
My 6 yr old son has a skateboard and wears a helment and pads when he rides. It is a must. LOL
Oh fun!! My oldest bought a skateboard a few months ago with his own money too. I hope yours has lots of fun on it with no bumps or bruises!

Helmet $70
Smiles....priceless.
lmao - hope he has lots of unpainful fun with that!
Just make sure the adults don't try it! We have some bad memories of that, lol!
That looks like trouble for sure, danger danger. Hope he has some fun! My son is 4 and keeps telling me that when he turns 6 he will learn how to skateboard. lol
LOL Skateboards scare me. I'm glad the worst my son has asked for is a scooter.
My 18yo had one and yes there will be lots of bumps, bruises and scrapes (hopefull that is all)

Thanks for pointing out all the reasons I need to avoid this one! My 5 year old was looking over my shoulder and was saying "Oohhh Mommy!" You have started something!
Bumps, bruises, scraped knees...but all about making memories. :)

At least you can tell they are having fun with the skateboard! Isn't that what really matters? LOL!
Oh, I dread skateboards. Is he on the hook for his own medical care?
I posted a WW today also. Please visit at: http://blog.feefifoto.com. Thanks.
Skating indoors????
LOL, I'm expecting an X-ray film in the near future...
Looks like my little guy! My hubby was (is) a skater. My first was on a skateboard at a year old. Right now he likes his bike better, but I imagine daddy will have him back on a skateboard before too long!
Good luck! Who knows, he may be a natural and he'll be the next Tony Hawk! =)
