I never contemplated all the hidden costs in buying a skateboard. Then again, there are a lot of hidden costs in having a boy, period.

My 6 yr old son has a skateboard and wears a helment and pads when he rides. It is a must. LOL

Oh fun!! My oldest bought a skateboard a few months ago with his own money too. I hope yours has lots of fun on it with no bumps or bruises!

That looks like trouble for sure, danger danger. Hope he has some fun! My son is 4 and keeps telling me that when he turns 6 he will learn how to skateboard. lol

Looks like my little guy! My hubby was (is) a skater. My first was on a skateboard at a year old. Right now he likes his bike better, but I imagine daddy will have him back on a skateboard before too long!
Good luck! Who knows, he may be a natural and he'll be the next Tony Hawk! =)
