I'm joining Mama's Losin' It for her Writers Workshop today.
This is my first one so go easy on me, ok? ha
I'll choose PROMPT # 5, please!
Did you have a childhood hideout? Where? Describe it.
Yes, I had hideouts. My VERY first hideout was a cracker cabinet. (What's a cracker cabinet?)
Well, I am glad that you asked......
A Cracker cabinet is a cabinet that holds CRACKERS *or at least that's where my mom put them.
Now that you know what a cracker cabinet is .....On with the story!
I would get inside the cracker cabinet and EAT CRACKERS. (Duh!) My mom said everytime I would go missing she would just go open the cabinet door and there I would be. She even has photos.
When I became a little older (probably around 10-12), I would hide in my closet. I had a rather large closet so there was plenty of room to sit and read my dirty magazines. *Ya know, the one's that had heartthrobs like Kirk Cameron and the New Kids on The Block.
Did you read those too?
I don't have many hideouts now days. Although, I have been known to lock myself in the bathroom to make phone calls or BLOG. I don't think it's a very good hiding place though. The kids always seem to find me.
Well, there ya have it......My hiding spots. I would love to hear about yours!

That was too cute. I was an only child so hiding wasn't necessary - I was too busy trying to find someone to pay attention to me.
