They're like LITTLE RATS.....LITTLE RATS, people

Let's talk Zhu Zhu pets.

The toy fad of the year.

Everyone's gotta have one......

errr until next month and then it will be something totally different.

Anyway, my kids aren't into these.
(Thank Goodness)
Because
They are sold out EVERYWHERE.
I'm not sure what happened?

Did one of those Jonas Bros endorse them?
Did Miley Cyrus touch each one herself?
I don't get it.

Just a couple of months ago, we passed them up in the toy aisle. I remember asking my daughter about them.
"Ehhhh......Nahhhhh I would rather have the Littlest Pet Shop instead".
I REMEMBER SEEING TONS of them on that shelve.

Now?
Not so much.
Why am I even paying attention?

H-ELLO
CHA-CHING BADA-BING $$
Have you seen what these things are going for on ebay??
There was an auction on there the other day that was already at $66 with 3 days to go.
TWO ZHU ZHU HAMSTERS
TWO ZHU ZHU ZHU HAMSTERS THAT COST $9.99 a piece
with 3 days to go!

On Craigs List there was someone selling 3 hamsters and 2 tunnel looking thing-a-ma-jigs for
GET THIS :
$250

Uh huh
$250

One word for any MOMMA or DADDY that shells out this kind of money . . .
"Sucker"
Ok, that wasn't so nice.
How about
"CR-A-ZY!"

Oh, and if you are a really good parent then you would just buy Junior a REAL HAMSTER.
(cheaper)

Just sayin'

Those things are so weird. I got one for my kids but they barely play with the thing.

I totally know what you mean. I can't believe the prices people are paying.... and asking. My DD wanted one for Xmas. I must say I was fortunate enough to win one in a giveaway, because I would never pay 5x over retail for a toy. Ridiculous!

I don't get it! I overheard a story about two grown women fighting over one in a store. How sad! Our children will survive without the latest fad. I always tell my chidren that Santa doesn't grant every wish and to be thankful for what he does give them for Christmas. Also, where has the true meaning of Christmas (Jesus: Peace, Love, Joy) gone- when people are hurting each other over material things.

I remember seeing lots of reviews and commericals for them and I thought what a cheap looking toy...haha! Now they're the it thing!

I entered to win one for a friend--I don't think my Bella would care for them. And Maddie could care less, lol!

Ewww! I keep hearing about them. This is the first one I have seen. My son has not said a thing. My daughter is too young, but I am sure next year when she "gets it" there will be an equally horrible thing for her to latch on to!

Happy Sharefest Saturday (just a little late)

my daughter wanted these for her birthday back in early Sept - I was able to purchase them - guess what - she played with them for like 2 days - now they sit and she is back to the pet shops. Maybe I should try to sell them on ebay!

It sounds like one of those things where they'll be cast aside permanently by the end of Christmas day.

I'm so kicking myself now for not taking the review that was offered on these. I've had the same Ebay thoughts.

Wow, 250? That is like 2 weeks worth of food here. I am going to up the anti and say they be "CRAZY SUCKERS". Just give me food!
