roses are red and then they're black

roses

roses copy

I've been watching these roses change colors ever since Valentine's Day.
Why?
Well, some may say that I am intrigued.
Others...Well, they may just call me too lazy to toss them.

I'm gonna lean more towards intrigued although I am really LAZY : )

Today they are even smaller and nearly black.
I might toss them tomorrow.
"Might" being the keyword there.

Have a great weekend!

haha...yes, I too have the same problem. I just got rid of my Valentines flowers. I'll have to post a picture of the ones I kept because they turned out to be gorgeous and dark dark red. ISn't it funny?

I've never tried this myself, but my sis-in-law told me that if I hang the flowers upside down to dry them, they will keep their color. :)

I once tossed roses after they started to get a little fuzzy on the stems... but yeah I was just doing a science experiment was all, no laziness here. :)

I'm SO like you! Mine, also a Valentine's gift from my husband, sit withering on my counter. I HATE throwing them away! Sigh!

Hey they're still good until they have mold growing on them right?
