I often get the same question over and over again from my IRL friends/family . . .
"What do you do ALL DAY LONG?"
Well,
NOT MUCH
IF
ANYTHING AT ALL
You see, my house is always spotless.
Dishes are never in the dishwasher.....hiding.
Clothes never get left in the washing machine.
Bathroom toilets never need scrubbing because I have trained the lil man so well.
He can aim now!
The kids N---EVER ask for anything because they can do it themselves.
Sure, I even let them slice and dice apples with SHARP knives.
They are just that GOOD!

I have so much time on my hands that I often find myself saying "I'm BORED."
"I'M BORED" . . .
over and over again
Some days I paint my toenails.
Some days I do my fingernails.
When I run out of polish choices, I am forced to move on to something else.
The masseuse comes on wednesdays and my personal trainer comes on fridays so that gives me something to do on those days.
Oh, one time I played Wii bowling all day.
I perfected my bowling score.
But
Then got that "Wii Elbow" so I haven't played anymore.
There's only 4 soap operas that I keep up with and they only take up HALF of my day.
The other half, I walk around saying
"I'm Bored."
"I'm Bored."
Some days I just sit on this computer all day long.
Of course, I make sure that I go to the bathroom beforehand and I ALWAYS have snacks around in case I get hungry.
I would hate to have to get up, ya know?
&
Some days (OK, most days) I don't even feel like cooking.
Sooooo I DON'T COOK!

Oh, I also eat BON BONS.
lots and lots of bon bons

I don't want to make hunky hubby feel bad since he has to work all day while I sit here and do nothing so as soon as I see his car coming down the road I JUMP UP and rush into the kitchen to do something.

What about the kids? (they ask)
They are around here somewhere, I think??
Like I said, they are perfect lil angels ALL THE TIME.
They don't need me.

:sigh:
Don't be jealous.

Cute post. My favorite flavor bonbons are the dark chocolate with caramel ones.

Which reminds me, I am out of them. Guess I will actually do something today....buy more.

LOL! It's strange, but when I worked outside the home, I never worked as hard as I do now!

It was like you were writing my autobiography and were INSIDE my home. Amazing talents you have.

You go girl. Right. I can't pull that off even in writing. I too get tired of people thinking I have an enchanted life and that I am "lucky" to stay home. Of course it's just luck right? It's not like living off of one income is difficult. I get every thing I dream of as long as that dream is a lack of sleep, wearing the same clothes for years and keeping track of every sale and coupons. Oh yeah, it's the princess life. :)

Mind if I print this out and frame it???!??!?!

Your place sounds like mine. Baby totally entertains herself, never cries or POOPS or is hungry or gets bored while I'm *pretending* to be busy. Everything kind of maintains itself and the mess that my man left from the night before kind of floats off and disappears. It's cool.

Baby can work the remote now so I don't even have to sit through commercials anymore.

Awe-shum.

Come hang out.

*Still giggling*

That post is just too funny. But how is it that hubs actually thinks I sort of do nothing all day??? We need to switch jobs for a day...

Your blog is great; this post is perfect. I can't tell you how many times people ask me what I do all day long!

Oops. Excuse me, I have to fluff my pillows.

For the longest time Jim figured since I was home all day I had to be bored. This was about the same time I had Mike here with me and also 6 daycare kids but since I just "watched" them I had to get bored besides they napped and then what was I going to be doing? I'm sure not cleaning up from the morning. He finally got it though his thick skull when he broke a rib and was "stuck" home with all of us that hummmm, she does work so the "if you're bored you can do this for me" quit. Even now with just 2 daycare kids and a house to run plus a small hobby farm I'm as busy as a cat on a hot tin roof. I've been on both sides of the fence and both are hard, no matter what anyone else thinks. Working in home, working out of home, being a SAHM it's all work, HARD WORK!!!
Thanks for sharing, you always make me laugh.
Take care and have a super day today. God Bless!!
