Not Cool, Jamie Foxx.....

So, I was watching one of those "entertainment gossip" type shows the other night and they were discussing the whole "Jamie Foxx/Miley Cyrus" radio diss. The more I listened to him the angrier I got. This is a GROWN man talking about a MINOR child like this.
Make a sex show and grow up.
Get like Britney Spears and do some heroin.
Do like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian and get some crack in your pipe.
*Some of the comments made while discussing Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana
It's just disgusting.
He later apologized ON TV while being interviewed by Jay Leno.
(hmmm....)
He tried to make it all better by saying he was JOKING and that it was for his satellite radio show.
Listen, joking or NOT she is a child.
A 41 year old man should have no reason to speak this way about a 16 year old girl.
I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE.

What are your thoughts?

I totally agree with you! If he were talking about an adult, it would still be insidious, but speaking publicly like this about a 16 year old is beyond horrendous in my opinion. I have lost all respect for Jaime Foxx and I don't think I'll be able to watch any of his movies without being totally disgusted.

The fact that he thought that was funny is even more disturbing. Maybe I'm oversensitive because I have three girls.

I'm remembering Don Imus who said something horrible and lost his job. Where is the outrage?

I'm not partial to either of them and didn't hear the comments, but honestly when you put yourself out there in the public people are going to talk. We all do it in one way or another.

His comments were disgusting and inappropraite and for that matter I feel I should never watch one of his movies again.
He was making fun of a 16 year old which is still considered a minor. I would call his comments harrassment and even lewd. Which should be punishable. He showed no remorse in his apolody and just laughed and snickered on the Jay Leno show about it.
My husband was even outraged at his comments. He suggested you throw the race card in there. If some white actor/comedian said those remarks about a young black actress we would have a boycott and public outrage.
I am not sure why the media just kind of ignored this and let it slip.
