So, I went back to sleep this morning.

Probably not a good idea since I had a nightmare about snakes.
EWW!
I hate snakes.
Oh wait, I take that back.
I haaaaaaate snakes with a passion.
Even though I have never actually been around them (I am not counting the ones at the zoo because they are in glass cases and can't get me.)
It's kind of like tornadoes. I have never been IN one of those but as soon as the sirens go off.....
Umm, never mind. I won't tell you how I act.
Just don't ask my hubby.
He would tell you all about it.
It might embarrass me.
Anyway, back to the dream . . .

There were TWO snakes (identical twins or something) and they were both in my ditch under a little water.
I was only a few feet away and could see their mouth's open and their fangs hanging out.
I probably would have fainted but then I woke up.
I had the shakes.
Everyone say EWWW!

The lil man got on my nerves yesterday.
He got on my nerves A LOT!
(meaning he was a bad boy)
I made him go to bed at 8:00 instead of 8:30.
He was upset.
Mainly because the sun was still up.
Ya know what I told him ?
I told him to pull the covers over his head for awhile.
He would not be able to see the sun that way.
Problem solved?
Well, he was the last one to rise this morning.
He must have kept the covers over his head.
IT WORKED!
You should try it.
*Well, ya know.....
If you don't want to win that SUPER MOM OF THE YEAR award.

I think I am already out of the running.

Did anyone get their FREE chicken from KFC?
I heard that a lot of places were turning people away.
I am always scared to use those coupons.
I just don't want to get up there and have someone say "Um, we don't accept these."
That's probably why I always send the coupons with my hubby!
hee hee


Ok, I am done.
Must clean kitchen....
Which really means, I shall sit here and surf the net until the kids start complaining that they are HUNGRY.
Then I will remember about the kitchen!

Random Thoughts Tuesday

So, I walked outside today and (TOTALLY) felt like Snow White or one of those other princesses that talk and sing with animals.

You see, I was going to take a dirty diaper (HEY, "IT" Happens) to the garbage can and as soon as I turned the corner there were three squirrels and two bluebirds frolicking around the trees. I almost broke out into a song followed with a little jig but then I heard the kids screaming so my fairytale was over.
I am not really that good at singing anyway.
However, I can bust a move (more like bust a gut) with the best of them.
Just sayin'
Oh, and no that wasn't my diaper I was tossing.
It was the kiddo's that I am babysitting.

I have eaten 12 Snickers candybars (full sized) in 9 days.
If you do the math....I had 2 on some days.
I did not share either.
I feel a little guilty.
(about eating that many NOT the sharing part)

Speaking of OINK OINK...
We had breakfast for dinner last night.
I cooked bacon.
I also cooked sausage.
I am so glad that you can't get the "Swine flu" from eating pork.
I would hate to give up pork.

Oh, and since I mentioned "SWINE FLU", check out this hilarious video from IJustine.
She cracks me up.
I ain't afraid of NO SWINE!!

I'll have a burger with a side of butt, please.

So, what do you think of the new Burger King commercial?
Ya know....the one with a bunch of ladies dancing around with square butts?
The one that is advertising a KIDS MEAL?
I will admit that when I first saw it I snickered.
I mean COME ON there were grown women dancing around with phone books stuck to their butts.
That is KIND OF funny, right?
(and baby got back was my jam back in the day)
But what's the point?

OK, I know that they are advertising a Spongebob Squarepants kid's meal but his name is SQUAREPANTS not SQAURE BUTT. How do they know his butt is square? Sure he wears sqare pants so one will assume his butt is square but it could be perfectly round for all we know.
Oh, and the KING.......well, he freaks me out.
Anyone else?

I watched the news today about the infamous AIR FORCE ONE photoshoot that scared the mess outta those new yorkers. First of all.....
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?
Why on earth would they not notify the city of New York and tell them that they would be flying down for a photoshoot?
I DON'T GET IT!
Come to think of it, Have they not heard of photoshop?

We planted a small vegetable PLUS one fruit garden last week.
It's our fist one so we think nothing will grow.
It's been raining cats and dogs so now we think the veggies PLUS one fruit will drown to death.

The little man doesn't like any of it but says his head is shaped like a cantalope.
I have to agree.
He gets it from his dad.

I was watching a news segment the other day and they were discussing people being addicted to facebook. They were telling us how DANGEROUS this addiction can get.....
One of the chicks had lost her job due to her facebook addiction.
A guy said he had lost a girlfriend because he spent more time searching for "lost" friends than spending it with her.
:Yawn:
Ok, I have a facebook account and yes I must admit that it's nice seeing what your old high school alumi are up to.
really, I just like to see how much weight all the popular cheerleaders have gained...tee hee
However, I lost interest....
I don't need anymore lil green plants.
I don't want to be hugged by the giant care bear.
Enough water balloon fights, easter egg hunts and snow ball fights....
&
Don't even think about kidnapping me again or involving me in any mob wars.

I just don't understand how someone could sit on Facebook for hours and hours.
(well, of course if you had enough little green plants to water then I guess I could see it.)

Twitter is far more addicting to me.

Oh and Snickers candybars.....now there is a DANGEROUS addiction.

I may even go on the news and talk about my addiction to Snickers but I would definately have them blur out my face and add that weird voiceover so you wouldn't know it's me.

I have a case of the "Why's" today....

Why do kids only get sick in the middle of the night or on weekends?
Is this some sort of KID RULE ?
*Lil man is sick....princess is sick and Big girl is YOU GUESSED IT ....SICK!

Why does no one care about MOM when she gets sick??
*I (THE MOM) am sick.

Why do men act like they are dying when they become ill?
*Hubby (WAS) sick.
Lil man is already developing this (CUE THE MUSIC HE IS DYING) trait.

Why do I only need medicine when I DON'T HAVE ANY?

Why are there empty bottles of tylenol and motrin in my medicine cabinet?
ok, don't answer that one

Ok, why does it seem like I have been busy but nothing has been accomplished?
I worked on this house all day yesterday.....
Can you tell today?
NOOOO!

Why do kids want to put their faces and hands all over clean glass/windows?
I mean seriously....
As soon as I walk away there they are with their noses pressed on my window. Is there something in Windex that kids can not resist? hmmm Maybe they add some sort of chemical that draws kids towards it. The more the kids put their noses on the window, the more we have to spray.....and if we spray it all then we are out and then when we are out we have to BUY MORE!
AHHH....I am SO onto you, Windex!

Speaking of windows, Our cat ran into one of the living room windows yesterday. She saw a bird and jumped from the loveseat right SMACK into the window. She hit so hard that it knocked her back onto the floor. I thought it was pretty funny!

The kids found a baby turtle last week. They also LOST a baby turtle last week. Oh, and they lost it in my garage. Yep....there is a baby turtle wandering around in my garage. I sure hope that baby turtle doesn't grow up to be a huge man eating creature. Ya know, I saw something like that on SciFi once. It was not pretty either.

Random Thoughts Tuesday

So, I thought I was having a nightmare this morning.....

I heard chainsaws, grinders, yelling and for a very slight second I could envision a ugly man with no teeth and tons of scars on his face chasing after me.

Oh wait.....

It was only my neighbor (he has teeth) getting his trees trimmed.

Yes, the tree trimmers pulled up in VERY LOUD trucks at 7:15 am. They have been going at those trees for 3 hours now.

I have been sitting here "thinking" or actually "wondering".

I wonder if you have to have some sort of fancy certificate to trim trees? Are there special classes on tree trimming?

I mean, I sure wouldn't want JUST ANYONE trimming my trees.

I have been peeking out the window and watching the limbs fall. They are only falling in one direction so that is why I assume there is some sort of training involved.

Lord knows, if I were to trim some trees they would be falling just about everywhere.

Also, tree trimmers yell a lot.

Heck....they yell more than me AND THAT IS A LOT.

I keep hearing "HEY!" "WAIT!" "NOOOOO!" and my favorite one "WOAHHH THERE MAN!"

Did I tell you that I won the brittish lottery again? Yep, I sure did!

Well, LINDA didn't actually win it but Ms. MY TRENDY TYKES did.

I assume it is really for me since they emailed me 4 times.

They only ask for my social security number, checking acct info WITH routing number and first born child. As soon as I give that to them I AM RICH!!!!!!!

I ate a milky way candybar for breakfast this morning. I don't feel one bit guilty but I do feel guilty for eating the two pieces of toast right after.

Well, It's Spring Break around here. Of course that just means MORE kids at my house this week. (kids that are not even mine)

As a homeschooling mom, I definately can't take part in the excitement over Spring Break and holiday breaks. I wish I could get a "SPRING BREAK" by myself.

Our next door neighbor totally put us on the spot the other day. He said they are planning on selling their house soon (Good luck on THAT) and he wanted to know if they could leave their dog here with us?

Y'all should have seen my hubby's face! ROFL

This is not some itty bitty cute dog either. It's more like a huge STINKY one that fights with the other neighbor's dog and chases down every car in sight.

The neighbor said it would save them the hassle since they will be renting for awhile.

Oh, we were at my dad's house this weekend and BIG GIRL was being nosey as usual and came across a can of sardines.

She wanted them.

She got them.

She ate them yesterday.

I made her eat them outside in the yard (FAR AWAY FROM THE DOOR).

I then made her change clothes and brush her teeth like 10 times.

ICKY!

What 10 year old kid eats sardines anyway??

Can someone please tell me WHY the TODAY SHOW needs 4 whole hours on television???
Seriously, couldn't all their nonsense be aired on a 1 hour program?
Also, did anyone catch the DOOCE interview? I didn't when it aired but saw it over at Mom Dot yesterday.
I have read Dooce's blog a couple of times but to be honest it never really made me want to come back for more.
However, I do think it is pretty cool that she has made it to the top.....really I do.

Oh, and to end this post today.....
These toys really hurt when you step on them.
I am going to have to say that they hurt even more than these do.

Random Thoughts Tuesday

Well, it's Tuesday. Not much I can say for Tuesday's.....

I mean Monday is the day everyone seems to hate.
Wednesday is hump day *Near the end
Thursday....well, there are a couple of tv shows to watch that night
Friday, AH! Everyone loves Friday.
The weekend is the weekend.

But Tuesday is rather bland.
Random Thoughts Tuesday will liven it up, right?
Disclaimer: MY THOUGHTS ARE COMPLETELY RANDOM today.
I have had a lot of time to "think" about crazy things this week.
You see, my dear hubby has been on vacation for 9 days. My computer time was non-exsistent BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN HOGGING IT! So, I got to come up with all kinds of "Weird-ness" in my mind.

Let's start with Hamburgers. Now, I read that the NAME hamburger may have come from Hamburg, Germany. It's still odd to me that there is no HAM on this BURGER but we still call it a HAM BURGER but why do we drop the HAM to make it a CHEESEBURGER? Why not say "Cheese" Hamburger, please! ??

Here's something else I came to realize this past week. I like cereal......A LOT! I also like my cereal soggy. Now I have always liked my cereal soggy but never gave it much THOUGHT until this week. ODD, huh? It's just something about the texture.
Hubby thinks I am weird.

Ya know what drives me nuts?
BOTTLED WATER
I just can't fathom why anyone would waste $1.00 on bottled water. I mean seriously....
You can get all of this for the same price:
High Fructose corn syrup
Caramel color
Phosphoric acid
Caffeine
Sodium
Carbs
Sugar
AND CARBONATED WATER (the good kind)

Ya know what else I find odd?
Most of my thoughts this week seem to focus on the same thing.
FOOD!
I need to get a hobby.
