Well, It's Spring Break around here. Of course that just means MORE kids at my house this week. (kids that are not even mine)

As a homeschooling mom, I definately can't take part in the excitement over Spring Break and holiday breaks. I wish I could get a "SPRING BREAK" by myself.

Any wet t-shirt contests going on???

Our next door neighbor totally put us on the spot the other day. He said they are planning on selling their house soon (Good luck on THAT) and he wanted to know if they could leave their dog here with us?

Y'all should have seen my hubby's face! ROFL

This is not some itty bitty cute dog either. It's more like a huge STINKY one that fights with the other neighbor's dog and chases down every car in sight.

The neighbor said it would save them the hassle since they will be renting for awhile.

Oh, we were at my dad's house this weekend and BIG GIRL was being nosey as usual and came across a can of sardines.

She wanted them.

She got them.

She ate them yesterday.

I made her eat them outside in the yard (FAR AWAY FROM THE DOOR).

I then made her change clothes and brush her teeth like 10 times.

ICKY!

What 10 year old kid eats sardines anyway??

Random Thoughts Tuesday

Well, it's Tuesday. Not much I can say for Tuesday's.....

I mean Monday is the day everyone seems to hate.
Wednesday is hump day *Near the end
Thursday....well, there are a couple of tv shows to watch that night
Friday, AH! Everyone loves Friday.
The weekend is the weekend.

But Tuesday is rather bland.
Random Thoughts Tuesday will liven it up, right?
Disclaimer: MY THOUGHTS ARE COMPLETELY RANDOM today.
I have had a lot of time to "think" about crazy things this week.
You see, my dear hubby has been on vacation for 9 days. My computer time was non-exsistent BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN HOGGING IT! So, I got to come up with all kinds of "Weird-ness" in my mind.

Let's start with Hamburgers. Now, I read that the NAME hamburger may have come from Hamburg, Germany. It's still odd to me that there is no HAM on this BURGER but we still call it a HAM BURGER but why do we drop the HAM to make it a CHEESEBURGER? Why not say "Cheese" Hamburger, please! ??

Here's something else I came to realize this past week. I like cereal......A LOT! I also like my cereal soggy. Now I have always liked my cereal soggy but never gave it much THOUGHT until this week. ODD, huh? It's just something about the texture.
Hubby thinks I am weird.

Ya know what drives me nuts?
BOTTLED WATER
I just can't fathom why anyone would waste $1.00 on bottled water. I mean seriously....
You can get all of this for the same price:
High Fructose corn syrup
Caramel color
Phosphoric acid
Caffeine
Sodium
Carbs
Sugar
AND CARBONATED WATER (the good kind)

Ya know what else I find odd?
Most of my thoughts this week seem to focus on the same thing.
FOOD!
I need to get a hobby.

Random Thoughts Tuesday

I have come to the conclusion that I spend too much time online.
:Gasp: Say it aint so.....
WHY?
Well, because I literally have to stop myself sometimes when I am speaking to friends and family.
*You know the IRL kind.
I have to stop myself from blurting out LOL or OMG! or BRB.
Yes, people I want to use internet lingo when talking to REAL PEOPLE.
(not that you guys aren't real or anything. oh, you know what I mean.)
Do you ever do this??
Am I just weird? **Don't answer that.

Side note: I can recall my first chat board sessions (Good ole AOL days).
I had just quit work to become a SAHM and decided to explore the net. I joined some pregnancy chatrooms and started seeing LOL everywhere. I had no idea what it meant at the time and of course would never ask. I mean....I wanted to be in the COOL CROWD, ya know?
I started using it . . . A LOT!
I would sign my name in emails like this :
LOL, Linda
Yeah for awhile I did that. (DON'T JUDGE!)
I did eventually find out what LOL meant.
LAUGH OUT LOUD
What I thought: lots of love
So, there for awhile I was known as "LAUGH OUT LOUD" Linda
now I am just known for using . . . . . . . . . .'s a little too much.
I guess you can call me . . . . dot dot dot Linda now.

*side note to the side note: that link up there says you can use LOL for Lots of Love too! I am not THAT crazy afterall.

Tales from the bathroom .....my random thoughts

So, I am sitting in the bathroom last night (ahem.....using it) and once I finish I glance over to the toilet paper roller thingy and notice that there is NO TOILET PAPER. There is an empty roll and then another empty roll on top but NO TOILET PAPER. I look beside the toilet.....none. I look underneath the cabinet .....NONE. However, there was a plastic bag under the sink and I remembered that there was a roll in that plastic bag.

SIDE NOTE: The princess is constantly dropping full rolls of toilet paper into the toilet once she is done. This one particular time she dropped it in a clean toilet so I told her to place it in a bag so that it could dry. HEY! You never know when you may actually need that toilet paper.
((DESPERATE TIMES and all !))

Well, this was one of those times. I had to use the toilet paper that had been dropped into the toilet and dried out. Have you ever use toilet paper like that? Well, let's just say that it is not the softest stuff to use on your tushie. OK, IT'S NOT SOFT AT ALL !

You see I would not even have to use this ROUGH STUFF on my tushie if there would have been toilet paper on the toilet paper holder. I mean HOW HARD IS IT TO PUT A ROLL OF TOILET PAPER BACK ON THE HOLDER?
My family can go through the trouble of locating a new roll of toilet paper only to place it right beside the toilet, on the counter or even right on top of the EMPTY ROLL!!
It never ends up where it is supposed to be though.

I mean seriously? I know there are some of you out there that prefer the toilet paper facing a certain way. UP, DOWN? I don't care ......as long as it is ON THE HOLDER.

**Please tell me my family is not the only ones that do this. I don't want to feel all alone and stuff.

Random Tuesday Thoughts

Sometimes I have these "Random" thoughts pop up in my head. I mean "RAN-DOM"! Sometimes they are so RANDOM that they are just plain weird like the time I was thinking of words and how WORDS came to be words......like "THE". Who came up with that word? See, Random and weird.

As for me, RIGHT NOW:
I am sitting here wondering why my little princess has to take off every article of clothing when she goes to the bathroom.
Also, why is she asking me for chocolate at 8:55am? Doesn't she know that only MOMMIES are supposed to eat candy this early? PLUS that is MY candy she is holding in her hands.
She is about to start a WAR and she has no clue....
Those are just some of my RANDOM THOUGHTS on this very cloudy Tuesday morning.
