If you guys have been coming here long enough then you know  . . .  I admit a lot of things.
*It's all about keeping it real, ya know?

Today I admit - - - I am lazy.
also - - - I am out of shape.
and - - - I could spare to lose a few pounds.
Oh and - - - I am not the healthiest eater.

Uh, I think that covers everything FOR TODAY.

Do you watch The Biggest Loser? I'm often amazed by their transformations.
A-M-A-Z-E-D
To see where they started and how they ended is just WOAH!

Admit Admit Admit . . .
Oh alright, I'll admit that I watch the beginning and end.
The middle? Ya know, where they exercise and eat healthy and want to die?
I don't watch that.
:GASP:

Ok, there was this one time I watched but I was eating a cupcake and felt guilty so I changed the channel.

WHY don't I watch?

I'm lazy.
I'm also impatient.
Ya see, I want to lose the weight and be healthy YET I don't want to do the work.
:Sigh:
I'm slowly but surely trying to implement some lifestyle changes though.
My hubby? Oh, he's been on the right track for awhile.
He's such a show off.

PFP

Listen up!

Soon I want to start walking an hour a day.

Unknown on June 15, 2010 at 1:07 PM said...

I started yesterday with my 16 year old daughter.

25 pounds by August 19th.

How? We are running the high school track, running up and down the "death" hill the football players use. 3 times a week... abs 3 times a week and yoga... in between those days.. :)

Why? Because I'm ready.. Because she wants to start her junior year off with a bang!

Huge Bang!

The Biggest Loser already inspired me to start losing weight. I am at 15 pounds and counting. My goal is another 20 pounds. I am eating healthier and exercising (nearly) every day.

Fangirl Jen on June 15, 2010 at 1:10 PM said...

I've also given up my diet soda at lunch and keep a bottle of water (refillable) on my desk.

Fangirl Jen on June 15, 2010 at 1:11 PM said...

One tip is to never "eat out of a container/bag". You need to set your portion size and stick to it. Endless boxes and bags will encourage endless eating.

My husband and I have made the commitment to get healthier and lose weight together. It helps to have a partner. He's down 25 pounds so far.

I am trying to fill up on water, instead of eating, because lots of times that is just it! You are thirsty~

I am reducing my portion size--I eat pretty healthy--but I like most people eat too much. Before I eat I drink a whole glass of water and take my vitamins then I will start with 3/4 sized portions--I hope to get to 1/2 size portions. I walk 4 days a week at least 30 minutes, but I'm going to up that to 45 minutes.

guettel78 on June 16, 2010 at 6:21 AM said...

I start each day with an hour on the treadmill, and I supplement that exercise by playing tennis at least twice a week, walking or biking to work whenever I can, and taking small steps like parking at the far end of lots and taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Foodwise, I definitely try to count calories and keep my intake under 2000 a day to maintain a healthy weight. Thanks!

guettel78 on June 16, 2010 at 6:23 AM said...

I've also begun to replace unhealthy snacks and drinks with better options - water or Vitamin Water for soft drinks and fresh fruit for candy. Also, when I do indulge, I try to make up for it by exercising more or getting myself immediately back on track without getting discouraged. Thanks!

I don't have time for an actual exercise routine, so my routine includes parking far away from everywhere (work included), powerwalking thru the grocery store, 100 baby lifts per day (minimum), there is no such thing as an elevator or escalator, and carnal sweating as often as possible. Who needs a gym?!?
