Parenting ....The Natural Way
We live in a fast paced society. We want things done FAST or rather RIGHT NOW. Everything that comes out on the market these days is made for "convenience". I mean....we have BAGGED MASHED potatoes now for goodness sake!
Convenience means paying a price. And with that PRICE comes EXTRA STUFF that we do not need.
For instance, did you know that over 4 million disposable diapers are discarded every single day and that is just in CANADA! Now don't get me wrong....I am in no way dissing disposable diapers because that is what I used with my kiddos. However, when I sit back and think of the cost NOT ONLY TO OUR POCKET BOOK but also to our environment it just takes me away!
WOW!
Are they necessary? Can you handle cloth diapers? What about "wearing your baby" instead of dealing with the hassle of that HUGE stroller?
Oh, and don't even get me started on what is ACTUALLY necessary baby care. I mean do you REALLY NEED THAT baby wipes warmer? Seriously!
And wouldn't you use a lot less plastic baggies (AHEM $$) for those poopy diapers if you just tossed them outside in the garbage can instead of wasting (AHEM$$) on those fancy diaper bins?
Thank goodness for sites like Parenting By Nature that educate us on such important things such as cloth diapering, baby wearing and baby necessities!
