Tyson Any'tizers

I just recently had the opportunity to sample Tyson Any'tizers NEW Quesa Dippers and I must say that I am HOOKED! These things are pretty darn tasty.

We've been fans of Tyson products for some time now. Their Any'Tizers line is full of great snacks that both my husband and kids enjoy.
So, I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to try their newest product.

Each bag of Tyson Any'tizers Quesa Dippers comes with salsa (Something my kids can't get enough of.)
Cooking time was QUICK (another plus for my family) and the taste was great.

We will definitely be trying more Any'Tizers brands in the near future.

Build A Bear Workshop awarding $10, 000 to 10 kids!

Nominations are now being accepted for the Eighth Annual Huggable Heroes program that recognizes and rewards remarkable young leaders for positive contributions to their communities and the world.

ST. LOUIS (Jan. 14, 2011) -- A recent survey shows that today’s youths are more in touch with the needs of their communities than ever before. In a poll conducted by Build-A-Bear Workshop®, 98 percent of the 400 young people responding said it is important to help others.

Through its Huggable Heroes® program, Build-A-Bear Workshop recognizes and encourages young leaders, ages eight to 18, who provide extraordinary service in their communities and around the world. The eighth annual search for these special people is now on! Anyone, ages eight and above, is eligible to nominate a candidate (and kids can nominate themselves) by visiting http://www.lovehugssmiles.com/HuggableHeroes.aspx or by picking up an entry form at participating Build-A-Bear Workshop stores in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. Nominations will be accepted through Feb. 28, 2011.

Entries will be narrowed down to 75 semi-finalists in March and to 25 finalists by the end of April.  Ultimately 10 new Huggable Heroes (eight from the United States and Puerto Rico and two from Canada) will be selected to join the ranks of more than 100 other amazing youths from the previous seven years. Each new Huggable Hero will receive a $7,500 scholarship toward his or her college education and a $2,500 donation from the
Build-A-Bear Workshop Foundation for a 501(c)(3) charity or Canadian cause of his or her choice. In addition, the Huggable Heroes will win a trip for themselves and a guardian to St. Louis, Build-A-Bear Workshop World Bearquarters.

“Our Huggable Heroes program was born of the desire to encourage and reward young people to give back to their communities,” said Maxine Clark, Build-A-Bear Workshop Founder and Chief Executive Bear. “While the monetary prize provides an incentive, it also represents an investment in both the causes these kids support and their education so they can continue to cultivate their leadership skills and achieve even bigger goals.”

You know how you have to take the "other bands" off just to see what the design is?
Well, Piggyback Bandz STAND! There is a design on top of a design.

Adorable designs, I might add.

We have the Cool rides, Safari, Sealife and Groovy piggyback bandz.
Each pack contains an assortment of designs (25).

My kids LOVE THEM!

Madeline At The White House book giveaway

Does your little one read the Madeline book series? If so, here is a brand new book for you!

Madeline At The White House

About the Book

Welcome to America, Madeline!

Madeline and friends are off to enjoy a wonderful American adventure. The White House in Washington, D.C., is their destination, where they are the guests of the president’s lonely only daughter for the annual Easter Egg Roll. Cake and ice cream, dress-up games, and scary stories told in the dark are capped off by a magical nighttime tour of the capital’s most famous landmarks, before it’s time for the twelve little girls in two straight lines to say, “Au revoir, America!”

The Story Behind the Book

“The idea for sending Madeline to the White House was my grandfather’s and grew out of his friendship with Jacqueline Kennedy. In a series of letters from late 1961 and early 1962, my grandfather sounded out the First Lady on ideas for the book, which he proposed calling “Madeline visits Caroline,” with text from Mrs. Kennedy herself. My grandfather died in 1961, before the book was finished.” – John Bemelmans Marciano, author and illustrator of Madeline at the White House and grandson of Madeline creator Ludwig Bemelmans.

Sounds like another winner, right?

Diecast Semi Trucks are Interesting Collector’s Items

Diecast semi trucks can be a lot of fun to collect and they also make great gifts for truck enthusiasts.   These miniature replicas of full sized vehicles have captured the interest of both children and adults alike for generations.  What makes them so appealing?  For some it is a matter of nostalgia, for others it’s something they find interesting and fascinating, while still others may have a whole set of additional reasons for establishing a collection.

Those who collect diecast semi trucks may leave their models in their original packaging, while others may show off their pieces in a display cabinet or on a shelf.  Regardless of where they may be placed, it is important that these toys are kept in good condition to retain their value.

What types of diecast semi trucks are available?   There is an extensive range of tractor trailer models that differ in scales (sizes), designs, colors, age and price.  Each are highly detailed and carefully manufactured to look like tiny version of real trucks.  Typically, the larger the scale the more details are defined and the more parts are moveable.

Hence, if you are looking to start a fun and interesting new hobby or are looking for a unique
and impressive gift to give, a diecast truck is definitely something you should consider, as it can have both personal and monetary value.

Change of Plans movie ~GIVEAWAY~

Mark your calendars. You will want to gather your family around for this NEW movie airing January 8th on FOX.

It is the newest release from The Wal-Mart Family and Proctor & Gamble.

Up to this point, Sally Danville's life has played out just as she hoped it would. A beautiful and free-spirited musician, she and her fighter-pilot husband, Jason, live life on the go, free of domestic responsibilities. But with a single phone call from Child & Family Services case worker, Dorothy (Phylicia Rashad, The Cosby Show), she learns that things don't always go according to plan. Sally (Brooke White, American Idol) is met with the news that her best friend from college has died in a tragic accident on a Peace Corps mission and has named Sally the legal guardian of her four kids - 3 of them adopted from third-world countries. Now Sally and Jason (Joe Flanigan, Stargate Atlantis) must quickly learn to parent this instant family and help the kids deal with the culture clash of life in America. The story is both humorous and heartwarming, revealing how fulfilling life can be when you look beyond your own plans and invest in the lives of others.
