Over and Over again

So...
I pushed my BIG heavy dining room table over to one wall in my dining room.
Why? Because the lil boy that I babysit is learning to walk and he needs room to do that.
Why can't he walk in the living room?
Well, because there is too much for him to get into plus it opens up to my breakfast/kitchen area.
Breakfast/Kitchen area = Big NO NO!
Get all that?
GOOD!
Back to the dining room . . .
Look at the picture below
Photobucket
See that chandelier/light fixture thingy?
Well, it is right in the center of the room.
It's pretty low too.
Ya know how many times I have hit my head on it?
about 5
Do I know it's there?
Yes
Do I still get right up under it and hit my head?
Yes
OVER and OVER again
:Sigh:
It's heavy.
REALLY HEAVY

Why am I telling you this?
Beats me . . .
Maybe I'm bored?
or
Maybe my darn head hurts!

Can you spot my kitty in the pic?
What about those two tiny pieces of white paper in the floor.
Pieces of paper that no one has picked up yet.
They are driving me nuts just looking at them in the pic.
Maybe I will pick them up.
Maybe not.

Happy Monday!

My friend has a lamp just like that and the only reason they have a table over the area is because of that stinking lamp! AH! lol

You should watch out for that chandelier.

I like your dinning room table. My husband is 6'8", he hits his head on things that aren't too low all the time, so he understands :)

Ha ha. So something I would do. Our dining room is messed up so even though the light is centered our table can't be directly underneath it, so my husband and I often hit our heads on the light too. Luckily it doesn't hurt. Hopefully you'll remember soon enough.

...can we just discuss that your dining room is gorgeous! YUM! and I say - NOT (as far as picking up the papers - they'll get stuck on lil mans socks as he's walking around)

We have the SAME EXACT THING going on in our dining room right now! The kids need room to run around and I was worried about them running AROUND the table...hubz and I are both walking around with lumps on our noggins - so funny :)

Hey now, I'm still waiting to hear about - Confessions of a Greedy Mom Blogger pt.2. I request to read it before next week when I'm too involved in packing and moving. Don't leave a sista in suspense! ;-)

My son has an airplane hanging from his bedroom ceiling. I walk into it EVERY SINGLE DAY. I have perfected the art of swearing under my breath because of it. I would walk into that lamp so often I would need a hard hat.

I used to hit my head constantly in my son's playhouse...once so hard it left a goose egg on my forehead! I hate hitting my head!
