They had their transaction split into 4 different orders. They used 3 different credit cards and cash to pay. Not to be a Scrooge, but do you REALLY need that video game and DVD if you're using 3 different forms of plastic to pay? 20 minutes later, I paid for my one thing and left.Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04022107939949744505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138683232885246713.post-78943677812537186942009-12-24T01:11:39.309-06:002009-12-24T01:11:39.309-06:00Ugh. But, I definitely know how to work the debit machine way too well.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12140251369331552673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138683232885246713.post-53381979236145655892009-12-23T15:36:52.383-06:002009-12-23T15:36:52.383-06:00Tis the season...Tis the season...Pres. I don't want to cancel it, it's not lost, it just doesn't work. But apparently nobody knows what I should do about that so I called back and forth between the credit card place and the bank like 50 times and now I am stressed and mad and my problem isn't even solved. Grr!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14000488378812665633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138683232885246713.post-68538395671493902012009-12-23T13:47:57.401-06:002009-12-23T13:47:57.401-06:00Reminds me of one time I was at the grocery store ...Reminds me of one time I was at the grocery store and something rang up "wrong" according to the person in front of me. It turned out the customer was wrong and the store was really standing their ground. It was literally over a matter of a few cents, but noone was giving in and the line wasn't moving. The person I was with took a quarter out of his pocket and gave it to the guy in line and he took it and went on his way. Seriously.Mass Hole Mommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18394886442191654012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138683232885246713.post-75662528769326191442009-12-23T13:47:46.539-06:002009-12-23T13:47:46.539-06:00I'll play devil's advocate here-- I watch ...I'll play devil's advocate here-- I watch the cashier like a hawk as she rings everything up. Too many times I've been burned by incorrect prices and/or not getting credit for coupons. The other day, canned cranberry was 98c, on sale from $1.98. I bought four of them since they were on sale. They rang up full price though! That's four dollars I could have been screwed out of. Plus, around here they have the policy that if it rings up wrong, it's free :) So that 18c would turn into a much greater savings!Sewing-Chickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13282532221695943114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138683232885246713.post-8472636500483420122009-12-23T12:17:17.862-06:002009-12-23T12:17:17.862-06:00gotta love grannygotta love grannyjonahbonahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16387893439841666201noreply@blogger.com
