That skinny sparkly vampire that eats spam . . .

I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone today as I ventured towards twitter.

Except this was not the DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO type of Twilight Zone....

It wasn't even the Twilight Zone with that skinny-sparkly-12 year old- looking vampire either.

Ok, come to think of it . . . It wasn't Twilight Zone-ish at all.

I have no clue why the Twilight Zone popped up into my head.
BUT IT DID

*Scratch all of that*

I felt as if I had just bitten into a spam sandwich.
Just go with me, ok?

I kid you NOT.
My whole twitter stream was nothing but giveaway this, giveaway that, RT this to win THAT . . .
200 more followers and we will be giving THIS away

Ay Yi Yi!
Now, I am not knocking the occasional tweet announcing a giveaway.
I'm not.
BUT
WOWIE
I miss the real conversations.

YA KNOW, the real ones that are just 140 characters long.
REAL-DEEP-Conversations
HELLO!
I miss hearing about your kid swallowing nickles and pooping pennies.
and
I certainly can't live without knowing what you had for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

But all this giveaway madness has broke my little twitter heart . . .
I'm losing that loving feeling.

Has twitter become one big place to spam?

What are your thoughts?

Bring back the tweets.
Bring back the tweets.
Bring back the tweets.

RT this and I will give you one of my children for a week.
I'll even cover the shipping price!

Don't all of you crash twitter trying to win now.

Which one is the hardest worker? I'm w/you on twitter, but part of the prob is following so many people! My IRL friends are prob just as done w/me & they don't even see half the stuff I do! I feel guilty posting about my posts! It's like we can't win; there's no happy medium.

I don't think I follow enough people to have that problem. Sorry!!

I am hardly on twitter anymore for that reason. Too spammy.

Yeah. I know what you mean.
I kinda feel bad doing this...but if someone I'm following starts tweeting about giveaways 24/7 - well. I stop following. sorry.

and, I don't really ever tweet about that kinda stuff myself {tryin' to keep twitter ol' school...wait. Can I use that phrase? or is twitter too new?} anyway.

But, I must confess - there was a super amazing (expensive!) camera that some company was giving away, and I did occasionally give-in & do some RT's to try to win it (and, of course - I did not win). :(

by the way - I followin' you on ye ol' twitter now. why haven't I before? Don't know.

I've really enjoyed reading your blog - so much so, that I've given your blog an award!

Yeah...I only navigate facebook and my blog and I have a headache. Though, I do have giveaways (I just started) I don't incorporate twitter. YAY me - I think!

I'm guilty... I have conversations with people on occasion, but use twitter for extra entries a lot. Seems like many winners win from twitter entries. And I am a giveaway addict as you may know. =) I do try to have convo with you when you're on though (if I have anything to say. LOL!). Sorry to be one of "those". =)
